Cyborgism Poster
DESCRIPTION
This vibrant poster spotlights the intriguing world of cyborgism, a movement of tech-enhanced (or cyborg) artists advocating for the acceptance of their groundbreaking works. During the conception phase, I ventured outside my comfort zone, bypassing the stereotypical tech-inspired looks. Instead, I delved deep into the core essence of the movement: the audacity of artists who dared to push boundaries and the critics who dismissed it as a mere parody. The result was a design that encapsulated the irony, sparking a conversation about what truly defines art.
This piece was featured in the 2022 National Association of Schools in Arts and Design (NASAD) showcase representing Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, and selected for the Spring 2022 Sophomore Communication Design Showcase.
